In addition to its core technologies, PKC has a number of product technologies for which patents have been filed or are under development. These include technologies such as the Smart Brain Retractor™ (SBR), an intelligent tool for use during brain surgery, the Intelligent Interbody Fusion Device™, an implanted infusion device for stimulating bone growth during spinal fusion procedures, and the Medication Dispensing Dental Implant™ (MDDI) which represents a major leap forward in the ability of physicians to provide a controllable, timed dispensation of a wide variety of medications to a patient for a wide variety of needs.
