IN VIVO (WITHIN LIVING ORGANISMS) TESTS

One objective of in vivo trials is to validate the efficacy and reliability of the MBP to repeat its in vitro performance in a real life setting, where not everything is can be ideally controlled. A secondary objective is to demonstrate the ability of the MBP to optimized drug delivery based on feedback sensor data such as concentration of cancer markers in the CSF.

To that effect, PKC has designed an animal study protocol in order to demonstrate the ability of the MBP and its various embodiments. The animal study experiments will be performed in accordance with the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) guidelines.
