PHARMACO-KINESIS HAS BEEN AWARDED A GRANT OF $244,479.25 BY THE IRS FOR THE METRONOMIC BIOFEEDBACK PUMP PROJECT
November 11, 2010 – The Internal Revenue Service has awarded PKC with a $244,479.25 grant under the Qualified Therapeutic Discovery Project Program (IRC 48D) for 2009 to 2010. This program, enacted as part of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (P.L. 111-148) under President Barak Obama, gives tax benefits in the forms of grants or credits to projects that show potential to result in new therapies for areas of unmet medical disease, reduce the long-term growth of health care costs in the United States, or advance the goal of curing cancer within 30 years.
