Technical Team

The PKC technical team is headed by Josh Shachar, founder and PKC director, who is a highly successful aerospace scientist and medical device entrepreneur with several patents in a range of scientific fields.  The engineering team is headed by Dr. Winston Wu, Ph.D., Senior Scientist and Project Manager.  Dr. Wu received is Ph.D. from the University of California, Los Angeles in Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Informatics and has co-authored several papers in biomedical fields such as embedded network sensor systems, wearable and implantable body sensor networks, and several biomedical sensing applications. He is also an Associate Editor, IEEE Transactions on Information Technology in Biomedicine.  Dr. Wu is supported by a product development team with specific expertise in the fields of embedded systems architecture, mechanical engineering, and electrical engineering.
