Biography

John is the founder of Matheu Associates and a Co-Founder of MATCO Associates, health care industry consultants that provide services to management primarily, but not restricted to, business plans, fund raising, market analysis, personnel recruiting, organizational structure, medical convention/ seminars, focus groups, mergers/acquisitions/licensing, and FDA regulatory process. Mr. Matheu is a director of Oxygen Enrichment Co., Albany NY, Marubeni Trading Co., New York/Japan, Intraop Medical Corp. Sunnyvale CA (medical devices for delivery of radiation).

John developed contacts and established agreements in the US biopharmaceutical industry for the following companies: Cytogen Corp.,(diagnosis/treatment of cancer), Immunomedics, (diagnosis/treatment of cancer), BioReference Laboratories, (cancer diagnostic testing), BioTech Genera (diagnostics/stents), Microdose, Inc.(drug delivery systems), China Pharmaceutical Assoc. (Beijing GMP/FDA Seminar) and GeneWiz Inc. (biotech research company). Mr. Matheu is also the Chief operating Officer and Secretary of International Bioimmune Systems, Inc. (diagnosis/treatment of cancer), and the co-founder, President and Chief Operating Officer of Puritek, Inc. (application of proprietary iodophor technology for water purification & wound management). John held many capacities at Pfizer Inc. between 1950 and 1987, including Vice President, Director of Operations, Generic Drug Division, National Sales Manager, Pharmaceuticals Division and Consultant on Chemical and Generic Drugs. John has also held positions on the Pharmaceutical Advertising Council and the International Societe De Chimie Industrielle. John received his undergraduate degree from the University of Santa Clara, Santa Clara, CA and attended Hastings Law College of the University of California and the Harvard Business Management Program.
