FROST & SULLIVAN TO PERFORM MARKET STUDIES ON MBP

INGLEWOOD, CALIFORNIA, November 2, 2009 – Pharmaco-Kinesis Corporation (PKC), an advanced medical device company developing smart local drug delivery systems, today reported the engagement of Frost & Sullivan, the world leading provider of market research and technology analysis, to perform market studies and a revenue model for the Company’s Magnetic Breather Pump (MBP).


Frost & Sullivan were engaged to perform three tasks:

 

1. A Valuation of MPB for Use in Leptomeningeal Carcinomatosis

2. A Valuation of MBP for Preclinical Toxicology Use

3. A Revenue Model for the Application of the MBP for Leptomeningeal Carcinomatosis

 

The MBP is an implantable and remotely programmable pump that can deliver multiple medications directly to a tumor site or organ, with real time measurement of bioresponse in the form of VEGF levels, temperature and pressure.  These studies are expected to prove instrumental in the development and commercialization of the MBP.  The studies are expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2010.
