Dr. JEREMY N. RUSKIN JOINS PKC BOARD OF DIRECTORS
INGLEWOOD, CALIFORNIA, October 8, 2009 – Pharmaco-Kinesis Corporation (PKC), an advanced medical device company developing smart local drug delivery systems, today reported that Dr Jeremy N. Ruskin, M.D., Director, Cardiac Arrhythmia Service, Massachusetts General Hospital and Associate Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School, has joined the Company’s Board of Directors.
Dr. Ruskin¹s career has been devoted to improving the lives of patients through understanding and treating cardiac arrhythmias, a range of heart conditions that affect millions of patients in the United States and worldwide. He among the world’s leading authorities in the field of clinical cardiac electrophysiology and a pioneer in understanding and treating the problems of cardiac arrest and sudden cardiac death. Dr. Ruskin obtained his medical degree from Harvard Medical School and currently directs the Cardiac Arrhythmia Service at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is a recipient of the Pioneer in Cardiac Pacing and Electrophysiology Award from the Heart Rhythm Society for his groundbreaking contributions to the field of cardiac arrhythmias and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.
