FIRST ANNUAL CLINICAL REVIEW CONFERENCE TO BE HELD IN NEW YORK
INGLEWOOD, CALIFORNIA, September 8, 2008 – Pharmaco-Kinesis Corporation (PKC), a start up biotech company, announced that its first clinical review conference on its innovative Smart Drug Delivery TechnologyTM will be held on September 18, 2008 at the Sloan Kettering Memorial Institution and Hospital in New York. Sloan Kettering Memorial Institution and Hospital is the oldest cancer center in the US. This conference will be held in a clinical setting spearheaded by world-renowned oncologist, Dr. Larry Norton who will host eleven panel members, who are each eminent, authoritative practitioners in the fields of neurology, oncology, and gynecology and who specialize in innovative treatments and technology.
PKC has raised considerable interest in the medical community with its development of a local, externally controllable and programmable drug delivery technology with sensors reporting local internal conditions through RF wireless communication, The objective of this clinical conference is for the expert panel to discuss and advise on three issues in the context of PKC drug delivery technology:
1) What are the current and future rôles of local delivery of chemotherapy in various cancers?
2) What are the advantages and disadvantages of PKC’s Smart Drug Delivery TechnologyTM?
3) What are the next stages in development and potential improvements in PKC technology?
